    R1280DB from Edifier - a surprising sound!

    For the size you would expect no base performance and a mediocre mid-range. You will be pleasantly surprised with this speaker set as it produces decent bass extension and a sweet mid-range/treble with non sibilant highs. You can adjust these with control knobs on the side of the speaker. The input options are plenty as powered speakers go including line in, optical and Bluetooth. For the price the sound is amazing but don't compare with $1200 bookshelf speakers as that's a different league altogether. Very happy with these and at this price range as will most! 8/10.

    Great speakers, great sound.

    These speakers are very nice, being used on my computer. They look good, and turn my computer into a hi-fi, playing music in a way I was not able to get with the sound bar I used to have. Setup is easy, and control as well. I look forward to many years of use from them.

    Great bookshelf speakers for the price

    great value ! Near field, office or small space, have them on stands. In built d class amp plenty of power, frequency response is plenty, remote control, blue tooth, RCA, coax and toslink inputs. Which means it has it's own DAC inbuilt. Plug straight into tv optical link.

    Solid, look good, sound good. Perfect for dramatic improvement in TV sound quality.

    Bought these for a friend who is slightly deaf, for use with her TV, which sounded appalling. She was overjoyed! Obviously not high end HiFi, but really very good sound and the multiple inputs were extremely useful as the TV did not have an optical output. They look pretty good, solid construction. Would recommend over any soundbar.
