I upgraded from $40 cheap binoculars and these are a world apart in clarity, build quality and feel. The neck strap is simple and sufficient. It's the only compromise. The manual is all Chinese, but thanks to Apple Translate I was able to read all of it. There is nothing in there that I had not already gathered from YouTube.
