It picked up small rocks, lots of silt & no problems with very large leaves. I'm very impressed, runs for in excess of 2 1/2 hours. Only issue is - my new pool is fiberglass, and it has a safety ledge all the way around the pool. the cleaner WILL NOT climb past this point. Therefore, waterline cleaning is not possible, (also steps). I was expecting this after reading other reviews, still very happy.
