I thought the mower batteries were 6V (didn't even check). Wrong, but no problem. The genius knew better & displayed the error/wrong voltage light. Then with the 2nd mower battery (out of the mower) I misread the symbols - black on black is hard to read in dim light. Again no damage done - the charger displayed the error/reverse polarity light.
