The keys are not back lit & nor are the screens. When one wants a simple and clear screen & keypad at which to glance when making or picking up a call, it is not there. This phone was not so much refurbished but is old new stock. All that can go wrong is the batteries dying sooner and the screens deteriorating a little bit sooner. I sent it back, cost $10. A problem with online buying.
