    Jamie does it! Great food, great price, great book, just love it.!

    I saw a show while visiting the UK and thought I would really love to make that recipe and tried to remember it BUT... and then I saw the show here a year later and found out it was from that book and told my husband nicely that I would like it, sounded great. I love old style recipes and I collect old recipe books but still use them and this sounded as if it has the best of both worlds-old and new and it has. Jamie has an enthusiasm that no one else seems to have and I think is doing good with it. You take the school dinner program and the resteraunts and the better cooking for the people to eat better. Its a great looking book, bright and very readable. Even looks great on a coffee table. yep, I love it. Its even enjoyable just to read and I do.

    A treat for both your eyes & taste buds!

    The quality is amazing! The photos of both food & people are great. Gives you a bit of an insight into the background of the food & the people that make the amazing dishes. There are recipes for both amateur & experienced. I suggest putting aside some you time & really take your time reading the recipes, you may surprise yourself & cook something way out of your usual meal plans. If you have watched the tv show, when you read you can almost envision the episode & hear Jamie talking you through the recipe. Highly recommend this book!

    Jamie's Original English fare like mum used to make

    The cook book in itself is a personal joy to me since I'm British born but live in Australia. The book contains all my favourite English meals and the proper method of preparation for each dish. It's much like "The dishes mum used to make" for me and I'm delighted in this very welcome addition to my bookshelf.
