    The GPS works as far as it goes. The little Hood thing certainly helps cut down on the glare from the sun. However, even though it gives a 300 metre warning to the next turning; the next few warn is just 30 metres from the turn. By the time it tells you that it is too late! A bit disappointing.

    The GPS unit works well, apart from the screen shade shroud doesn't sit in place without gluing it. The clips aren't tight enough and going around corners, even slowly causes the shroud to slide off the unit. Perhaps the manufacturer can address this poor design flaw. I would purchase again as the unit and features are fairly good.

    Fast postage, Maps loaded in are great, Only hic up we had was when the unit cut out and couln't find satalites, and we were lost for a little bit, Rebooted the system and has been great ever since, not as loud as i hoped but i'm sure when we blue tooth into car stereo that will change Thankyou

    Great GPS for very few Dollars

    If you buy one of these, you will probably find it difficult to set up the Navigation option using the included instructions. But don't dismay, they send you a link to a youtube video which shows you how to get it going very simply. The unit is pretty easy to use and has a good range of functions and a clear, easy to read screen. Not sure whether the promise of free map updates will be forthcoming, but I guess I'll find out in due course. But at the price, you could afford to buy a new one every year or two and not worry about updates.

    A good product to avoide

    A friend told me that I would regret this when I told him that I had bought it. He was spot on. It is a complete piece of garbage. I gave it to the grandson of another friend since he enjoys taking things apart. He loves it. However, he is talking about all other options EXCEPT for the one that I bought it for - that is its GPS capability. The users manual is certainly written (not surprisingly) by a non-English speaker. We live in a country that uses metric - neither I or my friend found anywhere that provided the means to change from imperial to metric. And the tick-tock was just as useful. All in all, it can adequately be summed up as a complete waste of both money and time. I hope the grandson will enjoy it - he's too young to drive so therefore has little use for the so-called GPS ...

    Love the size and clarity. Voice volume is a bit too low. The screen attachment could be a bit bigger/longer. Overall it is quite good. How long it will last, who knows. For the price I think it’s a really good buy.
