    What was defined on the specifications are not quiet what is happening.

    this was said to have a free download chance when releasing the the boat it does not happen when launching the boat of the trailer,it needs to be run on either the remote or the other connection.It also said it would be 6 foot when bringing the boat back to the trailer but the manual says 4 foot instead, other than that the unit does work okay but a little slower than the other unit that i replaced with this one.

    Fieryred 6500lb Electric Boat winch

    The reason for not giving this winch 5 stars is that the winch is slower on retrieval than my past winch which is annoying and it also will not free spool out like i think it should. The only way to spool out cable is with remotes. When you are launching boat and it is a busy ramp time is of the essence. Otherwise seems a well constructed unit and the cable may be a little heavy for retrieving a boat.

    I think it is good value so long as the wiring size is adequite

    I have not completed fitting it yet .The item looks good and seems good value . However I am having trouble understanding how the small DC inlet wires feeding it's motor that can draw 250 amps will stand up to that load . I would like the supplier to comment on this .
