Have only used it twice but it works perfectly if not better, the battery seems to last longer than the original and it has great power and the construction and plastic feel extremely sturdy. delivery was fast. Instructions say not to charge directly after use as it can effect life of battery, I think this might be why my original battery broke!

A serious hazard.
This battery was great at first or so i thought. I could use my dyson dc59 much longer and everything was good....until a few days ago when it discharged on its own, blowing toxic smoke into my face, i had to put the vacuum on the windowsill of my small top floor unit until the battery fully discharged which took ages. I was waiting for it to explode but there was nothing i could do. The toxic smoke made me instantly sick, i wouldn’t risk using this battery because next time it may cause some serious injury. Ive learnt my lesson to buy an official spare from dyson dispite the cost, cause if this happened to an official battery and caused serious injury dyson would be responsible, these dodgy chinese makers wont be and youll be left scared and regretful.

Poor lasting power quality.
The product was delivered promptly. undamaged. It replaced the original battery after about 4 years. The old battery was rated 2100amh and after a full charge, lasted the whole cleaning of our small villa. the new replacement, after 2 full days on charge, ran out just before the the cleaner had finished. Bad review. Knackered my Dyson V6 stick.
Purchased a new battery thinking it was a great deal and value for money...... resulted in vacuum not working properly...... stick to purchasing from Dyson and not cheap versions. My Dyson stick cuts out, starts itself off when on charge. I’ve done all the ‘googling’ to try and fix it. It’s down to the ‘new battery’ that I purchased for this company.

What a great product
Dyson should have used this battery when they let the Animal leave the factory. They last so much better than the standard one. Easy to change over and work perfectly. To think we nearly threw the Animal away after the last battery failed, lucky we bought one of these. 5years warranty is also amazing.

Good enough replacement for the original
I didn’t want to pay the high cost of the genuine Dyson battery so found this cost effective ‘after market’ replacement. It works fine, the fit into the charging station on the wall is a little tight so it doesn’t dock quite as well but its a tiny criticism. Overall happy with the unit.

Dubious but converted
I was a little hesitant trying this battery as it’s not original BUT Im super impressed. Like many have said, it actually out performs the original battery. I can run it on max for a good 10 mins longer. The wall bracket DC plug didn’t really fit but I think it’s just new. I have to lightly press it in but apart from that I can’t fault the battery.

Poor Quality- Supplier ignores warranty
I purchased in good faith a Dyson battery. The internal switch mechanism failed after a couple of uses. It is obviously of low quality. The supplier has ignored my emails to try and repair or replace the battery despite several attempts. I would AVOID this supplier and choose the original brand.
