Purchased this product as I thought it would do small household shredding and it was low cost. After receiving item commenced to use it and after a couple of minutes it stopped working, even though the instructions said no more than 2 minutes. I left it cool down for a couple of hours and then commenced to use it again. It stopped again after a couple of minutes, let it cool down and then it would not work in a forward motion but only in reverse. Cut the cable and threw it in the bin. I wasn't going to go through the hassle of sending it back and waiting for another one as it was only worth $50. Purchased a better quality one at local store for a few more dollars whic does an excellent job.

Not exactly what was pictured in the advertisement, the shredder top part does not cover the open part of the bin completely, has gaps around the top, the advert does not make that clear in the photo. Shreds well though, 6 out of 10 score.
