Punching Well Beyond its Price Point in Performance and Reliability
Ive read reviews stating how "Penn are not like how they used to make them in the good old days", and this is very true. The older USA made Penn reels have become an antiquated relic more suited for the collector when put side by side with these new model Spinfisher VI. The reel allows you to downsize and in some cases double the drag capacity compared to older models. Under high load the reel has performed smoothly and reliably. Efforts have been made for weight reduction with the reel still retaining its bulletproof feel. I am a fan of these models and for the price point you get a lot of reel. Would highly recommend, it performs, is feature rich and pretty much bullet proof.
