I have bought two of this model over a short period of time. Both of these capacitor mater have failed. I have been in electronics for since the mid sixties! Both have failed with similar symptoms. The meter will provide a reasonable output when new. Over time, last one 6 months or thereabouts, the this suddenly starts showing vague numbers. When switching between volume, the measurement just goes totally absurb! I would not recommend this meter and would advise anyone, especially begginers' to steer clear of it.
