Bit hesitant at first but very happy
I used to be able to put a razor edge on a knife by hand, but to be honest don’t want to spend the time anymore. It put a razor edge on all my knives, handled my globals very well. I would advise doing a couple of cheap knives first to learn how to use it , my tip do not use any pressure just the weight of the blade.

Good if you can get it right.
I bought the Nirey KE198 on the good reports this had but I have failed to get it right, have ruined two knifes on it so far and dare not use it again. Have since purchased a belt sander with a range or different belts up to 1500 grit and are getting much better results. I don't think the Machine is at fault but my style of using it.
