The lifter is quite good with a very solid stand. The handle position is better than I have seen in others as well. It would be nice to have it so it can lift 6m sheets.

The product arrived well packaged and in good condition. We assembled the lifter and did a check to ensure that it was ready to go. We have used lifters for several years and the first sheet we lifted went up well but the brake pad tore off the drum due to inadequate fixing to the brake drum, wouldn’t hold the sheet up against the ceiling. We will need to pull apart the machine and refit the brake pad with suitable fixings. Will be good then. Would still recommend to others tho.

Solid construction with weight, the weight is manageable because the Drywall Lifer breaks down in manageable parts. No tools required for assembly, excellent buy, only one modification was needed to the fold out 3 leg base. There are 2 locking holes in the base, fully open and fully folded closed for transport/ storage. I drilled a 3rd hole, 1/3rd from fully open. This permitted the Drywall Lifter column to rest against the kitchen counter while still remaining completely stable. Hence I was able to lift a sheet up to the ceiling against the kitchen wall.
