The Joyo JTA 05 is a replica of the 1950's Fender Champ circuit. It comes with a Celestion speaker as standard. The Champs of the 50's had a capacitor mod which was not shown in the schematic. This little amp would benefit from that mod, which is easy to do. That said, it sounds lovely and fat straight out of the box and Strat players may be happy as is. Definitely worth the $250.

I've been playing this amp for about an hour now and i absolutely love it. It sounds amazing and is almost noiseless... For 200 dollars this little amp is a keeper, i will use this for home practice, recording and rehearsals. I wanted to buy another one recently but unfortunately the price has gone up almost 50%, so i do not think its such great value now... this amps electronics are great but the amp housing itself is cheap and nasty... save the $300 dollars and get something better for that price. was a great amp for 200 bucks but i don't see the value in it now

Sweet by name and by nature, this Joyo Sweet Baby tube amplifier is fantastic, great sound from the start, once burned in it can only get better. Build quality is very impressive, cannot get over the price payed for what you get, thank you Joyo.

As a young feller in the 1960s I built several tube (valve) amps. Since I've got back into playing electric guitar (I have 3 nice ones from Artist) I decided to try this Joyo tube amp from Artist. Memories..... I have a 30w solid state amp with reverb etc which is fine but it doesn't sound as nice as this little beauty. I like the Celestion 8" speaker and the clean sound from the class A output stage. 5 Watts (rms) doesn't sound much but the Joyo is plenty loud enough for home, jamming and recording. It's really clean and it has that 'classic warm' sound. I think the Celestion speaker driver helps too. The amp is nicely finished with a sold enclosure. Thanks Artist! Rob

This is a great little tube amp. 5 watts blows my 10watt solid state out of the water. Really crisp tube sound that has done wonders for my little strat, the blues never sounded so bright from me. Well built and very basic, handles pedals fine and is nice and compact for a tube amp. Two thumbs up 👍🏼
