I returned this order not for choice, my complete knife set was taken at a function all global, This was the start of a rebuild. My wife bought some knives of a other brand. The Globals went back I was looked after perfectly with the product return although I regret it now as globals suit me on every need so I dare say I will be back

Let me start by saying I am not a professional chef. In fact, I'm not even a good cook. But I am a person who appreciates good tools and these Globals are seriously good. They are well balanced, a good weight (not too light, not too heavy) and seriously sharp. I sliced a soft tomato easily and accurately just holding the 20cm cook's knife with thumb and forefinger whilst letting the weight of the knife do the work. I know there are more expensive knives out there which are probably appropriate for professionals, but these are great for the home cook. I will definitely be buying more Global knives.
