It is great quality, provides full overnight lighting (tested during summer months in Melb) motion sensor coverage is good range and is sensitive and does activate the stronger light mode. The only way to set some settings (light intensity. duration of light, etc) is using the remote and this is subpar. If you set things using remote it will work through the night but the next night motion detection will stop working and the remote is unable to reset things. (Probably a firmware bug.) Luckily you can climb up and turn the master on/off switch and things will start working again. These are mounted high so the ladder needs to be used. The "support" through the ebay seller Ozplaza is pathetic as they did not read the issues I sent to them and they indicated I needed to prove that the remote setting changes was not documentated in listing to be something that is supposed to work and be retained overnight....unbelievable...you can't change the settings other than using the remote and it stuffs up other things. I suspect they seller can't provide any type of support for these types of issues even they claim they support the product or have no contact to someone they probably just replace it after hassling them enough. Now I just use the three I have and never touch the useless remote it works well enough without changing things. It has a larger solar panel, large battery liPo battery pack without cirruit board on pack which can be repaired by a handyman who can solder if needed but it should last a lot longer than smaller packs.
