You must use a power supply for the masthead amplifier, using this DC adapter has eliminated the AC hum in my audio, so everything is working perfectly! The label on the powerpack in the photo indicates it has 14v sinewave output, that is incorrect and it has been rectified (both the output and the label) on the item supplied.
