Recommended to anyone using 120 (or 35mm) who wants fine grain, nice contrast and reasonable exposure latitude. I've been using it for years, and I love it for landscape and portraits ;-)

Ilford FP4-plus has been my long-time favourite black and white film, along with the faster Ilford HP5, and I especially like its tonal range and flexibilty. Both Ilford films are easy to develop and print in a home darkroom. I also like the fact that Ilford has been around for a long time and survives as a manufacturer of 'old-style' high quality camera film in an age when everything is changing so rapidly -- and not always for the best.
