The model is old but fairly accurate and with minor modifications can become even better such as replacing racks and filling in the holes that would have been used to make the model motorized. As it has minimal parts, it good for beginners with some guidance. Once painted either by hand or by spray gun, with some weathering you will have a model that compares with the more expensive kits of the same tank, as is with all Tamiya armour models. Overall, its good value and lots of fun for what you pay for.
