I had a Bernzomatic soldering iron but it’d seen better days. It’s time to use a better, good quality well made on the move soldering iron. Heats up in seconds and easy to use. A can of butane gas was also included as in parcel as plus. Cheers.

Original and the best
Had portisol in the past great product. There are many gas soldering irons out there, but but you’re better off going for the original and the best. Even compared to soldering stations, there pretty hard to beat. With multiple tips, temp adjustment and with added value of portability. You just can’t beat it.

I have had the same item for at least 10 years, it just wore out from constant use. I look forward to many more years of a quality item suitable for the job that it is intended for. This item is so versatile, just in its portability, let alone the fine soldering work it does. The attachment used for heat shrink is an added bonus, along with the heat shield which is used on heat shrink in very tight places. Shrinks the tubing all round in one hit. If you are after a great soldering iron that is portable, the the Portasol range is the one you should choose. Get the top model, you won't be disappointed.
