Unlike a trackball mouse, I am finding the Logitech Vertical Mouse is intuitive, and easy to drive. I find the mouse is comfortable for prolonged use, without experiencing fatigue or discomfort. A well designed product, easy to look at, and the build quality looks good. Works perfectly with Ubuntu O/S. I like it.

I bought this mouse to try out a replacement for our ancient three button vertical mouse. On unpacking, the instructions were confusing and inaccurate, however it was easy enough to figure out. There are three ways to connect this device; by USB cable (included), BT, and wireless (dongle included). On installing in Windows 10, Windows will offer to download and install Logitech's management software, and I let it do that. In Windows 7, you will have to download and install yourself. Then it came time to choose a button to designate as a double-click. I cannot use Windows without this indispensable featre. But if the four programmable buttons, none of them worked very well in this regard, and in fact two of them were out of my reach. I've put this product away again for emergencies. It may be handy one day, but not while the old mouse is still alive.Read full review

I suffer from chronic the dequervains tenosynovitis and my wrists don’t allow me to use a regular mouse easily any more. This new mouse places my hand in a great position taking the strain off my wrist. I previously tried the Logitech MX vertical mouse but the thumb scroll wheel exacerbated my pain.
