It's taken a little bit to learn how to use it but, my crimping is now 100% better than it used to be. It almost looks like it was done by a sparkie. Yeah, not quite. It does save time over using a pair of needle nose pliers and/or soldering. You do have to practice. For a non-tradie, it took some time to work out how to use it but, I'm still wasting less bits that I have previously. I am still learning. Photo shows one of my first half dozen goes. Recommended.

This is a quality tool but the handles should be a little longer as it requires both hands to crimp larger connectors.

A solid tool that will last long. I accidentally stepped on it with my full weight - not even a scratch. Just train a little how to get the perfect crimpings - experiment and once you understand it it works for ever and a day. Don't go for cheap copies if you need to make accurate crimpings. Only negative is a very small release lever , requires a bit hard pushing if you want to cancel crimping before completing it.

Nice solid construction, does a nice crimp, the heads are really easy to change, no tools needed.

Have looked at very similar types of item but these seem just as good at a much easier price

I was expecting a crimp tool that formed a HEX crimp specifically for Anderson crimp lugs. This is not a HEX crimper, I already have other crimpers that will do the same job as this item.
