Haven’t really used it fully yet, but not too impressed with the 5700ltr usage rate before recommendations telling us to replace the cartridge filter when I am not using it to actually fill a water tank in a caravan, but to use it to final filter the the water from my rainwater tank before I top up my swimming pool, as I certainly will reach that literage a lot quicker than periodically just topping up a caravan water tank. Being told that I can flush out the water filter by reversing the flow of the water, but the only problem with that process is I reduce the effectiveness of the filter every time I do this, hence the comment about cost of the item $85.00.

Works very well, has a long working life of around 6000 liters of water, and is as easy to clean as reversing the fitment on the hose when it's getting blocked with contaminants it's filtered from the water. The flow rate is also high enough to allow it to be used as an inline continuous filter into the bargain, not just for when filling the storage tanks, so all the RV water delivered to the taps is clean and palatable. Note: Not reliable for microbial treatment, just dissolved solids and sediments. For non-potable water, a UV serialization filter is still needed
