Based on Archie Weller's award winningnovel The Day of The Dog, Blackfellas tells the story of Doug Douligan (John Moore, Pitch Black), a half-caste Aborigine caught betweenan undyingallegiance to his people and his greater aspirations to be free from the deadly cycle of violence and self-destructive behaviour in which they live.
