I needed a kitchen scale for my dieting and wanted to replace a small mechanical scale. I saw this listed and grabbed it without actually reading the listing properly. But I wasn't disappointed when it arrived! It's a proper shop scale, it has a kg readout with 3 decimal places so it shows the grams (what I'm after). It has a clear plastic cover over everything except the tray so spills can be wiped. It has a bullsye level and adjustable legs to be levelled and a metal tray. It can be programmed for prices but that's not what I'm using it for. The chassis is made of hard plastic but it seems sturdy enough, I like the 80's red led number readout, very easy to use for just weighing. So I'm happy with it, at around the 30 dollar price point. If it was $100, then it would be getting about a 3-4 star from me. But at 30, it's easily 5 stars and a fantastic deal. The weighing action seems decent enough. Give it a go if you need a kitchen (it's bigger than a normal kitchen scale obviously, but is far better than your average kitchen scale) or cheap shop scale.Read full review

I depend on my scales as a grower of produce who attends farmers markets and weighs produce as it is harvested. These digital scales run for a long time on a charge and are easy to operate and read. My first set, less than a year old, developed a fault at the on/off switch. I needed a second set of scales before I could risk fixing the old set, but it was also going to be handy to have two sets of scales because I move them around the yard a couple of times a day. Anyway, I replaced the on/off switch on my original set of scales, with a new switch that was exactly the right fit, sourced from the local electronic parts shop, for a little over $5.00. It took a little soldering. Other issues with these scales include parts falling off, such as the plastic feet that support the tray. I have had to glue one back in, and if you lose these pieces the scales are useless. I doubt that replacements could be found. The screw in feet have a habit of falling off too, as the thread is quite loose. Again, that would be a difficult part to replace. Despite all that I think these are the most reasonably priced, accurate and functional scales for items under 40kgs out there, otherwise I wouldn't have bought a second set even when the first set failed due to a broken power switch.Read full review

These scales are very accurate and extremely easy to use. You can read them from both sides which would make them ideal for a business that would weigh in front of the customer. Battery life is great, just remember that the battery is not lithium and can develop a memory. Fully charge before use and only recharge when necessary. But the biggest plus is the cost. At $47.15, these are a bargain. You can see similar advertised for $150 - 200, but they couldn't do a better job.

Very impressed with these scales. They even work without being plugged in. Great for their price. Only issues are it seems to be off slightly by 5 or 10 grams and leveling doesn't fix this. Measuring plate also has lumps where welded.

The scale I bought is the 2nd one of this brand, the first one last for less than 4 months & out of order, this 2nd one just broke again & within less than 6 weeks, not a truth worthy product unfortunately.
