This product is good, and has had constant use since it came into the house. Nice and hot and easily refilled 1.8lt tank. However, the design could do with some improvement. It slopes out from the base, so if you have a tall Mug, especially if it has a flared lip, it's pushed away from the unit and doesn't sit on the drainage shelf properly. Short, squat mugs are fine. Also, you still need the kettle for filling a thermos.
