These bluetooth headphone are wicked.
These Avantree Headphones are a very cost effective solution and are easy to connect to the base station. On my TV, the SPDIF output to the base station doesn't mute the sound via the remote, but the TV speakers still work so I have connected them to the headphone out socket, which disables the TV speakers. Doesn't worry me because I live alone. One niggle however is that the ear-cups are a bit uncomfortable after a while, like they are for a little kids ear size. The headband clamping force is not excessive. Sound quality is excellent. There is little or no lip-sync lag due to the blue tooth whatsit. I am a bit deaf and these things are much better than my hearing aids. Must say tho that I had not realized how much background noise is in TV programs that almost drowns out the speech till I started using these 'phones. I had thought that the speech I missed was because I am deaf. That's how good these things are. I now never watch TV without them.Read full review

Wireless connectivity works perfect, and very well made unlike some cheaper plastic style headphones. A little small on the ear pieces for my comfort which reduces the cut out of external sounds but otherwise a good quality unit.

A great Purchase and keeps my wife happy!
This is absolutely fantastic! Now I can watch TV at the volume level I want, without my wife telling me to turn the TV down! I used the Aux Audio out on my LG TV. The volume is controlled independently to the internal TV speaker volume, via a menu in settings. Set once and forget because I can control volume on my wireless headphone. The long range Bluetooth means I can go to the toilet and still hear the dialog on the TV!!

Work well. Easy setup.
On the whole it does just what I needed for my hearing. ie - Bluetooth but with an extra function to use a sound bar when I want to use them and allow others to hear through speakers. Easy to use. Can get up and move away for a 'cuppa' and not miss anything. Do get some (plastic) pressure on my ears if using for a while. Muffs need to be a little thicker. Ear muffs don't keep outside sound out all that well. This can be good or bad depending on situation. Great if I want to listen later at night

The quality of sound is ok but the standby time is compromised if you don't use your head gear for a while as the headpiece seams to go flat whilst standing even though they are plugged into power. The pamphlet states 40 hours standby time but once they are charged they turn off and don't keep charged. They are ok if you are constantly using them. Switches are a bit on the small side
