I was looking for something to add a little more thump without being too dull and these fit the bill perfectly. I have a Marcus Miller V7-5 and these strings are lovely on it. We had a professional sound engineer come to our church to teach the sound guys how to EQ better and he remarked "that's a lovely sounding bass"... I'm getting a better sound in boomy halls too, surprisingly.
