This is my 2nd Baumr saw, first was the 20" model which did it's job + more. Had my SX75 for 3 weeks now and it's even better with it's upgraded design & better air filter. I didn't expect a whole lot simply due to the price but Baumr has surpassed my expectations in every way. Longevity is what you expect from the top brand saws, they can take a beating but your paying at least 8x more. The key with this brand is to stay ontop of the basic maintenance and don't flog the sh*t out of it. They run hot, guzzle fuel and the filter fills up pretty quick but so long as you get the fuel mix bang on & your willing to clean the filter after every solid use it should last you plenty long enough to get your moneys worth. I'd suggest upgrading the bar and chain to reduce cutting time as the stock setup is a little grindy and the chain doesn't glide over the bar. Once you've got a good bar you can always keep it for future suitable size saws so better not to skimp on that. I've found Oregon to be the best for chains & bars. Read full review

Good chainsaw for the price have cut some big trees with it so far but second time using it the pull start mechanism has broken inside where the cord connects to the coil, to be honest, it’s made of lite plastic with 1 knot.... could be made more durable.. bit disappointed with the design of starter but rest of saw is good design

This chainsaw is great value for money. It has exceeded my expectations for such a minimal outlay. Super easy to start cold or hot. Comfortable and easy to operate. After "running it in' ( light use for the first 6 tanks of fuel) , after that, a tweaking of the carby rev settings and it really sings. No it isn't a Stihl but at a 10th of the price it is amazing. Requires a good chain but that is no surprise. Already has paid for itself from having cut more than three 6 X 4 trailer loads of wood. I am confident that judging by the build quality and if this saw is treated with care & respect it will give back way more than it should. I enquired to Edison's about spare parts and was pleasantly surprised with their aftersales attention and support with product backup. Read full review

Love the new saw so far! Power to spare compared to the Husqvarna 440e I have been a custom to for so long. Easy as hell to start which has been a welcome change for me. Thanks for the quick delivery and good price on a great product.

Solid product with good features. The unit is well built and was easy to assemble. Having used several different brands over the years this is certainly the best value for money chainsaw I have ever purchased. The user manual is online, which I would have preferred as a hard copy, but it was simple to access. I use canola oil on the chain which work well with the chain and bar supplied. The chain bar is heavy duty. The start function is superb once warm - it started with one pull of the handle making life easy and safe when in use.

Purchased the SX75 and for $145 delivered to my door it’s excellent value for money. The plastic feels a little cheap but for the money it’s what you expect. The chain was pretty blunt from the factory so will need a sharpen before you start, but hold a good edge after that. It take a little while to start from a cold start but once warmed up, it restarts with very little effort. We cut a a number of trailer loads of hardwood and it cuts well and and has enough power to get through the timber well. For your sub $150 investment you get a pretty decent product.
