Working when connected to a PoE CISCO switch (without the supply PoE power source), which makes it very helpful. We have also used a 10m extension cable for one of the "ears" so we can cover both sides of the staircase which protrudes outside the house. ie. one access point serving two discontinuous areas that cannot "see" each other. Seems to be working OK, although the signal strength reduced maybe 25% when we separated the two "ears".
