This is a fantastic item. I bought one to use as a workbench in my art studio. It is the perfect height and size for standing at and filming my youtube videos and the bench top is really solid. This was purchased as a propagating workbench, not for a kitchen! Having said that - it'd be absolutely fine for a kitchen! The top is stainless, and nicely rounded on the edges. The legs, under-tray and below benchtop bracing are all steel with a fine galvanised coating. Assembly is via socket head ("Allen key") M6 grubscrews. Sliding the under-shelf down the legs tends to mildly marr the galvanising slightly. Time will tell if this is a problem.. Assembly takes about 10 minutes, and is NOT difficult or tricky. You need to screw in 16 grub screws. They are no problem at all. The grubscrews are designed to deform the legs where they attach - so moving the shelf after initial assembly will reveal some marks and dents. Choose carefully!
