Great sound and great value
Considering the wide polar patterns and the sound quality these SM58 Beta models are great value - previously I mainly used an SM58 or Electro-voice - but these are so good I have equipped the whole band (4 vocalists)

Shure Beta 58a
I have been using a Shure SM58 fore years, great mic very happy with it, reading a few reviews on the 58a and how good it was on the lower registers I thought I’ll give it a try. Now the SM58 is my backup mic, I’m a solo performer and a common remark from the audience is “ I can hear every word so clearly “. Very happy with the Shure Beta 58a.

Love this mic, as described. My old one died, I wanted the same one. Apart from the blue ring (which I thought was a signature for the Shure Beta SM 58, the sound it produce is great!
