I've had this exact style of watch for years now, it's low profile on my wrist and doesn't get caught on stuff when I work. The light is pretty ineffectual at night, but apart from that it's easy to work and has only simple functions which suits me. Bands tend to break about once a year with me, but I can get new bands where I live and to be honest, the watch was so cheap that it hardly matters.

I have used this model watch for many years. When the watch band eventually cracks and breaks I buy a new watch because I have found that new bands cost almost as much as a new watch. This time I bought two watches, one from you and one made in Japan for comparison. When I received them I set them at precisely the same time. After two weeks I found the Japanese watch had kept good time but your watch had gained one minute and twenty seconds. I have three other watches with broken bands so I intend checking them for accurate time keeping and I will then transfer the band from your watch onto the one that has kept the most accurate time and discard your watch. The Casio F-91W is a useful and inexpensive watch that deserves all the positive reviews it receives. I'm not going to cover all the details that others already have, but the two things I'm especially keen on are accuracy and water resistance. When I received it I set it to the exact time with a GPS-related app on my phone. Ten days later, the watch is still spot on. The specifications claim a rather self-deprecating +/- 30 sec/month. As others have discovered, the watch has a reasonable water resistance. I haven't tried swimming with it but I wear it in the shower, no problems. It's always advisable not to press any buttons when in water, of course. So although it was never intended as a watch for use in water, it's good enough for general exposure. About the only thing I'm not thrilled about is its tiny size, but for me, that's not a deal breaker. My wrists are not especially large. Happy to own this iconic piece of horological history. I like the watch but was surprised at just how small it is. Almost a lady's size (I am a bloke). However, it is doing the job very well. I am not sure whether mine is faulty or not, but when you press the button for the light, you only get a glow from the left hand side. I suspect that there should be a light on the other side. I can read (only just) the time with the light like it is. I was not going to complain about this, but since I am doing this review, if the supplier wants to contact me fine. I do have great respect for the Casio brand.

The app can be annoying as it beeps you for seemingly no reason every couple minutes. Could have been just my settings. Once i turned notifications off it wasn't a problem. This watch also does not have a timer, which is a shame since it would have made it that much more better. Apart from the minor blemishes mentioned above, this watch is superb value at $10-$15.
