As a farmer, I have kept a copy of Ms. de Bairacli Levy's book on my shelf for years. It covers a wide variety of pets/livestock and her knowledge of herbal/alternative medicine has come in quite handy, especially for health maintenance. The part I most appreciate is her ability to give a variety of solutions for one problem as not all herbs are available to everyone, depending on their geographical locations. As with all additions of her book, they improve over time but even the back issues are most helpful!
Any book by Ms. Levy is worth adding to your library. As I am a firm believer that society and especially the government abuses the use of antibiotics and hormones in not only our own care but in that of our pets and especially of that of our food sources, herbal remedies are a blessing. This is an amazing book for you and your animals. There isn't really anything that I do not like about this book. Compared to other books about caring for your animals through herbal remedies, this ranks as one if not the best.
