No what they used to be.
I have owned and looked at a few of the swisstools over the couple of years and they all seem to be the same. They all lock but the tools have considerable play in them. This has not been evident on earlier made ones I have looked at. Considering how much you pay this is really disapointing

Worth the money
I have owned four of these over the years. One I sold when I was short of money, one I gave away, one was stolen and the last one I stil have. The first one didn't have the scissors but was fantastic quality. They are still great quality but I noticed the later ones tools have a bit of play in them. They have a lifetime warranty but if you look after them you should be able to hand it down to your children. Heirloom quality. scissors. These are by far the best quality multi tool on the market

Old time quality
This could easily be a family heirloom. High quality carbon steel that really holds an edge. Good blade snap. If looked after this will easily last several generations.
