      Quality Grinders

      Don't waste your time with the gravity switch type grinders, they get clogged up, don't grind properly. These Breville grinders are a quality biuld. The battery placement means they don't get fine particles in the battery compartment. Batteries and motor are separate from the grinder and s+p compartment so the mechanism and wiring is not contaminated unlike the gravity switch grinders. The s+p components are more enclosed and in conjunction with the cap reduces the effects of humidity. The grind adjustment is excellent and stays more accurate as the grinders do not get clogged. This grinder set replaces the gravity switch set I have, the salt grinder failed as salt gets into the battery compartment and with a bit of humidity corrodes the wire and failure results.       Nice addition to the kitchen

      I've only used it for a short while but these are my early impressions: - Good quality solid construction - looks good - comes with a cap so you can keep moisture out or avoid get S&P all over the place - Easy to unlock to replace batteries or refill salt/pepper - Built in light is disappointing, uses s incandescent light(not LED) so it's very dim. - Salt/pepper container is smaller compared to other similar products - Needs a lot of batteries
