CLAUDINE'S RETURN is the story of Claudine Van Doozen, a strong-willed yet fragile young woman who lives in a cheap motel on Dolphin Island at the edge of the sea. She spends her days working as a laundress and spends her nights as a dancer at a local strip club. Despite her youthful defiance of convention, she occupies a special place among the eccentric inhabitants of the island.Events on the island compel Claudine to return to the scene of the most painful losses from her past, including the death of her only brother. Already emotionally entangled, Stefano accompanies Claudine on her journeys causing their relationship to intensify and forcing them to discover their true feelings.
