      Great features

      Great product, clear sound. The only thing is when the radio comes on the volume comes on the highest setting which is annoying then we have to adjust the volume every morning. It should stay on the volume we have set up.

      Too bright too loud

      The display is too bright and can’t be dimmed, I have put a hat over the device so I can get a goodnight sleep, but not convenient if wake up during the night to check what time it is. If you sleep with a night light it might be good for you. The alarm volume goes to level 15 my listening volume is at level 10 during the day so it’s too loud for me, so have to adjust the volume as soon as the alarm comes on, there is no function to lover alarm volume, apart from that it works well, but for the purpose of an alarm clock it is no a good choice.

      Technically inadequate

      This is a compact, good looking unit. However it falls well short of my needs. Reception quality is poor. It has a very bright display which cannot be dimmed. Worst of all it wakes at the set volume then immediately rises to maximum volume. I think it is reasonable to be able to set the waking volume, I don’t want a loud alarm, especially when the reception is poor.

      The projection is clear. The display is very bright and we have covered that. I still haven’t worked out how to turn the set alarms off.
