The only tripod you will ever need if you don't need more than 9kq stable load rating.
It's the best travel tripod there is now, bar none: a) short and compact with practically nil wasted space b) ultra-stable with high ~9k load capacity c) includes a hook to hook on a bag / weight to weigh it down for when it's windy d) incredibly easily to flip open, setup and the reverse when you have to pack up e) includes hidden PDA holder, e.g., for selfies, etc f) has low-mode and inverted modes g) has anchor mounts, ready for PD straps h) has optionla universal head adaptor if you wish to use your own tripod heads.It's the best travel tripod there is now, bar none: a) short and compact with practically nil wasted space b) ultra-stable with high ~9k load capacity c) includes a hook to hook on a bag / weight to weigh it down for when it's windy d) incredibly easily to flip open, setup and the reverse when you have to pack up e) includes hidden PDA holder, e.g., for selfies, etc f) has low-mode and inverted modes g) has anchor mounts, ready for PD straps h) has optionla universal head adaptor if you wish to use your own tripod heads.

Best in class tripod!
More stable than most regular tripods and more compact than any other travel tripod I have indeed (and I have owned a few), this one really is the bee's knees. It's only negative is that it isn't stupidly cheap, but then quality never is. When you consider it can replace your travel pod and a medium sized one put together, the value equation improves substantially. If you value compactness and stability, this is the tripod to get. If weight is important too, then get the CF version.
