I made the error in assuming the fish would float in my pond unassisted but I was later informed by the seller that it requires some water turbulence to move the tail fin which keeps it afloat. Strangely though, two out of the three fish do not float but the third floats regardless of turbulence. Ne erthless my fault for making assumptions. Great looking fish and much more realistic than the rubbery types.
