Very thin cushioning and very firm plywood base. Not all that comfortable and it's probably not worth getting the 'massage' option as you can hear it more than you can feel it and the half meter USB cable to power it is pretty useless. The 'heating' option is barely detectable and will pretty much stop the massage option. The 'footrest' is not load bearing and feels like it's going to snap off if you put any weight on it. I've had this for 1 month now and the foam padding has already collapsed.
