    D-Link

Works better than our old nbn Telstra modem that used to slow down to dial up speed & drop out often. Also has 4 lan outputs for the ability to hard wire the devices in the house most used. Overall am happy with the modem, the only issue we had was setting it up(I’m no tech head & can usually set devices up), needed to call the D-Link help line whom guided me through & changed settings to get it working. Good customer service.

Works as a modem / router well. Print Server and NAS not well supported

As a modem Router it is OK. The ASDL connection speed is slightly lower than the router speed. I purchased this as I thought I the previous one was failing, but perhaps it is due to the Westnet - iiNet - TPG degradation in service. It is not simple to connect NAS or printer. You'll work out how to connect NAS from forums, I ma working with their excellent tech support for the print server. Information is not included in manual or menus. If you use USB3 it states it will degrade 2.4 GHz performance. 2.4 GHz range marginally better than previous router.

  • Works well following difficult set up.

Works well once set up. Solved problem with intermittent wireless connection on our iPad. Unfortunately, setup is not straightforward or clear.

  • Punches above its weight...

Punches above its weight in value. Admin interface is extremely easy to use. Haven't truly tested the speed and range because my ISP is well... yeah!

  • Easy to setup and good wifi

Not a techo - but this does the job - ditch the one provided by your carrier
