    Excellent acting all round.

    Murder By Decree was an enjoyable Sherlock Holmes movie. Christopher Plummer played the title character with his great acting ability & James Mason did a good turn as Dr Watson.

    One of the best interpretations of the Jack the Ripper mysteries. Sherlock was portrayed in a more favourable light than more recent portrayls.
