Works well as a standard bell, however live video feed is slow in linking to app (approx 12 seconds) and stream switches to SD frequently as it can not maintain 2K. Person or motion detection is good and notification to phone app takes about 5 seconds. Unlike other video doorbells no installation wedge is provided so unless you're going to put it flat on the wall you are forced to resort to a block of wood to change the viewing angle
