    These 1/4" empty NAB reels are very poorly made - it actually seems like it was handmade with a router on a template. The edges were rough and the holes for the screws that hold the flanges together aren't even countersunk. The reels are cheap so I guess you get what you pay for, but I didn't expect it to be this badly made.

    Sorry to hear you are not satisfied with our reels. Hundres of other buyers are. We are trying to sell affordable accessories and not charge an arm and a leg like other do. Some compromises have to be made. Countersinking is not necessary as the stainless steel hardware we are using just adds 0.125 mm to the surface. You might have liked the powder coated reels better. But they are a bit more expensive than these...
