      Should include paper instruction guide

      I like this product but have one BIG QUESTION/COMPLAINT. Why is there no printed PAPER set of instructions included INSIDE the box instead of all over the outside of it? I do not want to keep a large cardboard box in my kitchen as it takes up too much room.

      First time mandoline user

      This is the first mandoline that I have ever bought so I have nothing to compare it to. The blades are very sharp and it is very easy to switch between slicing and Julienne cutting. The hand guard is very flimsy and frustrating to use. After the first use the handguard had loose bits coming off it. There is a lot of wastage using the hand/finger guard. As I have no benchmark to compare it to, I don't know if this is how all mandonline handguards work. I will continue my quest to find a small mandoline that can do slicing and Julienne cutting.
