    Wouldn't recommend for a beginner

    Whereas the cover shows samples of modern calligraphy, the manual is actually only for traditional calligraphy. Which is not bad, but it's still deceptive. I didn't like the nibs on this pen, and the ink tends to flow too much, even if you hold the pen at an angle. The scratchpad and ink are ok.

    Best One So Far

    This is the best kit I've found so far, it's got a wide variety of colours for ink choices and several nibs. Don't forget about the workbook at the bottom of the book. Plenty of space to practice! Definitely recommended.
