    Works really well, although setup can be complicated depending on your wireless security settings

    I bought this to use with a ZTE H268A NBN modem / router and a desktop with a wired Gigabit ethernet port. Setup to get the RE650 connected to the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz SSIDs broadcast by my router was relatively painless, although I did initially have to disable MAC filtering on the router to get it working. The process to re-enable MAC address filtering again on the router was fairly painful because there were quite a few unadvertised MAC addresses used by the RE650 that had to be added to my router's white list. The RE650 also modifies the MAC address of wireless devices connected to it (eg a phone), so you will have to add the modified MAC address to the router's whitelist as well as its actual MAC address. So that took a while, and required some networking trouble-shooting skills, but it ...

    High performance, well designed and good build quality product

    Over the years, I have used LAN consumer hardware from Netcomm, D-Link, Belkin, Netgear & TP-Link & often found TP-Link to offer superior value for money compared to the others. I have also noticed significant improvements in build quality of TP-Link hardware over the years,, but without the unreasonable price hikes associated with quality improvements. On the TP-Link RE650 AC2600, I have found it to be easy to set up, & that performance (in terms of speed, connectivity, reliability & reach), to be very good & more than satisfactory for home use. In saying however, I cannot say how it fares against like repeaters from Netgear & D-link, etc. Overall, it is a tidy solution but be forewarned that it will take up the space of 2 power points.     Really great distance extender .

    this is very easy to set up and the distance is really good . Once st up you can take it anyware to get your wireless signal then connect computers via a network cable were ever you want to be . I have tried all different types of extenders routers , Access points Aerials Boosters etc etc but this is by far the best and so portable you can have full network internet speed any ware at all

    Expensive but good

    The title says it all. I bought this as a replacement for an AC-750 extender that couldn't keep up with demand. It's twice the size as the old one & it does cover the socket next to it. The led lights make a good night light thankfully you can turn them off. So far I've had no issues with drop outs or lack of coverage so 8 out of 10 size & cost are the minus points
