    drawing book

    It wasn't quite what I was expecting. This book is definitely not for people that want to learn to draw. Nor is it step-by-step as claimed. I am new to drawing & am working through this book. I will be looking for a different one that is better suited for the complete beginner to drawing.

    I made friends with a 12 year old.

    I bought this book as a gift for a 12 year old. It did have a section in it about drawing nudes so I previewed it with his mother and she said her mother was an artist so he had seen thses things before and it was OK to give it to him, so I did. When he saw it his eyes lighted up and he said "AWSOME". He likes drawing animals so he was thrilled. Couldn't get home fast enough to try some of the techniques. I also bought him some drawing paper and a pack of colored pencils. I guess I was a success.
